Following the policy guidance of high-quality development and equipment updates in the national forging industry
Recently, the State Council and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have successively issued multiple industrial policies, vigorously promoting large-scale equipment updates and technological transformations in the industrial field, and promoting the transformation of manufacturing towards high-end, intelligent, and green industries. Forging equipment, as an important component of industrial mother machines, has ushered in a new window of development.

According to the "Action Plan for Promoting Large scale Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Trade in" and "Implementation Plan for Promoting Industrial Equipment Renewal" (MIIT Joint Regulations [2024] No. 53), it is explicitly proposed to accelerate the elimination of outdated and inefficient production equipment in the machinery industry, support enterprises to carry out technological transformation around energy conservation, carbon reduction, safety production, and digital upgrading, and aim to achieve significant growth in equipment investment in the industrial sector by 2027 compared to 2023, and improve the level of numerical control of key processes in key industries. At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting High Quality Development of the Casting and Forging Industry", which also proposes to encourage forging enterprises to promote advanced process equipment such as precision forging and short process forging, improve the level of equipment autonomy in the forging field, and promote industry quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, and green development.
Forging is a fundamental process in equipment manufacturing, and many downstream industries such as automotive parts, engineering machinery, and rail transit rely on high-performance presses to complete key forging forming. Industry research shows that there are still a large number of traditional and old pressure machines in China that have been in service for a long time. They generally have shortcomings such as high energy consumption, insufficient automation, poor controllability of process parameters, and insufficient safety guarantee capabilities. They are no longer able to meet the current production requirements for high-precision forgings and stable production. Under this policy guidance, more and more forging enterprises are phasing out and updating old equipment, and transforming their production lines into intelligent ones, as important measures to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and ensure compliant production.
At the policy level, multiple support tools such as technical renovation re loans, interest subsidies, and project subsidies have also been formed to lower the funding threshold for manufacturing enterprises to update and renovate equipment, further unleashing the market demand for forging equipment.
Rongcheng Huadong Forging specializes in the research and manufacturing of warm forging and hot forging presses, closely following the national policy guidance for high-quality development and equipment updates in the forging industry. In response to the actual needs of forging enterprises for technological transformation and upgrading, we provide high stability forging hosts, and can also provide integrated solutions for automated production lines to help forging enterprises replace old equipment, achieve intelligent and green upgrades in the production process, and adapt to policy guidance and actual production requirements of enterprises.
